thats gonna make combat even less fair. ....what about IED's....that makes combat even less fair. At least the f*cking terrorist have somethign to shoot at (the little robot) but...the it's 50/50 for marines....They have IED's planted all over the place there.

hmm...and this generations gaming nerds rejoice.
We're about 20years away from some dork with a Desk top receiving the Silver Star for killing insurgents from his parents den on his PC.
New technology = no bravery or honor
whatever...war sucks.
3 things
1. That's pretty fuggin cool.
2. Fukc fighting the insurgents 'fairly'
3. That's pretty fuggin cool.
yeah, but that just brings up the whole arguement, that troops shouldn't even be over there. True that..war sucks.

whatever...war sucks. exactly, wouldn't it be so much better if we went back to settling our scores with sword fighting, or some sh!t like that.
innocent lives are going to be lost with these robots, because of some crazy motherf*ckers who will get trigger happy, and want to test how the robot works.
Those things are too slow to be useful in any type of moving battle/situation. Plus there are other obvious problems - can it climb a wall? How good are it's optics? Narrow openings in walls and fences? maneuvering under lowhanging objects?
It will be cool when our soldiers don't have to die in battle on foreign land anymore. I get the feeling they'll be needed back here in the States to protect our country in the near future.

This is great stuff. Now you can enjoy the fun of killing from the comfort of your own home. I like it.

Just stfu.
The machines had a tendency to spin out of control from time to time. That was an annoyance during ordnance-handling missions; no one wanted to contemplate the consequences during a firefight.
LOL
lol @ all the anti war posts in here. I think its cool and its great that we can use those even if it saves just a handful of american lives. How is it any less humane than a soldier on foot doing the dirty work?
More trigger happy?? no way.
I can only speak for myself but i know I would be WAYY more trigger happy if I was on foot, holding the rifle with my life on the line, rather than 100s of feet away, behind a computer.
If anything, it should lower the amount of friendly fire or civilian casualties.

I hate every sandal soldier over there, but you can't say IED's aren't fair and that 1500 lb bombs coming from 50,000 feet are more fair then digging a hole and putting a bomb in it lol.
I want one!! where can I buy it?

Their all the ones who cheered during 9/11, women and children who cheered and waved their lil flags. ****kk them. I feel bad for the marine who was just charged against killing that one iraqi after they raided his house. Getttt em all and now they can do it a little more in a fun safe video game matter.
