who would win...BAS or RANDY???
idk this fight just kind of popped in my head for some reason...two veterans and pioneers of the sport...Randy would win right now because im sure Bas isnt in tip top shape that randy is in...but itd be a cool fight to watch
In good shape Bas would win easily imo. But Bas hasn't prepared for a fight in a long time, so in current shape I hate to say it but Randy would win imo.

Randy. Bas is good, but Couture's wrestling skills would be too much. Bas is an animal but his sprawl has always sucked (he himself still says this), and Couture would take him down repeatedly. Randy is very good at using his boxing to close the distance for takedowns... he might eat some shots but he'd get Bas down fairly easily IMO. Bas is more of a combination striker too, and not a big one-punch guy, so the chances of him catching Couture with one big bomb wouldn't be all that likely.
Couture would win a fight now, and I'd say when they were both in their primes he'd beat him too. Both awesome guys though.

Bas is an awsome guy, He talked to me after one of my fights..funny as hell...he had a beer in each hand and was cool with everyone. but randy would win by taking it to the ground..Bas is my vote for the guy I least want to be kicked by though.

Randleman is a free-stlye wrestler, meaning he uses single/double leg takedowns. Bas never had any takedown defense during his prime. Couture is a greco-roman wrestler, specializing in the clinch. Bas would be much more comfortable in the clinch then against a free-style wrestler because he could work knees and uppercuts.
Bas by body shot KO -or- submission due to leg kicks (warpath)
