Question:
Please drive responsibly (serious)
I just wanted to make this thread to remind everyone, especially you young guys, to be responsible and sensible on the roads. There are way too many preventable deaths caused by irresponsible driving, and I see people doing dumb and dangerous stuff on the road every day. Please consider your own safety, and the safety of others when behind the wheel.
If you doubt the consequences of dangerous driving you might want to have a read of this: http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/stor...31-948,00.html

Yeah, you are right. Young guys and girls need to be a lot more careful and aware of what they are doing.
Young girls get in a lot more wrecks than young guys.
Young guys get in more fatal wrecks that young girls.
Not good :(
yeah i just read on news.com.au that an elderly couple where instantly killed somewhere in sydney. apparantly three cars were dragging each other, hence they went through a red light and killed two elderly people instantly.
i like to know whats happening around the world, and this story is so sad.
hope the guys in the car who were dragging have a good time in prison.
I agree. Most people go about their ignorant lives, never even contemplating that they could ever get into a car accident. Blissfully unaware of the forces that come into play at high speeds in cars. Then BOOM! they are holding the remains of their best friends abdomen in their hands as blood oozes out of every orifice and he screams and screams until his chokes on his own blood. The unfaulturing stare of a dead man then haunts their every thought.

i know it sounds harsh, but i dont care if someone in a car does something stupid and dies from it, as long as they dont harm anyone innocent. thats when i get mad.

Don't stop trying but...
This annoucement is an exercise in futility. Besides, youth and responsibility are an oxymoron

I couldn't agree more. It amazes me how reckless and careless some drivers are.
The ones that speed excessively, don't ever worry about giving way, or cut right in front of you at dangerous speeds are the people that will kill.
It only takes a quick and stupid decision by some hoon or idiot driver to seriously injure someone.
I won't travel with some of my friends because they do things like take slow corners at full speed, or get up real close behind cars.
I don't understand why people do it. They shouldn't be on the roads

If someone dies or injures themselves because they're being incredibly careless then i won't feel any sympathy for them.
As long as they don't endanger anyone else

When driving, I always hope I am not the victim of some douche who can't drive.
If the DMV made it more harder for idiots to get their license we wouldn't have this problem.
One of my best friends fell asleep at the wheel the other night and flipped his truck, the whole thing caught on fire it was crazy. He walked away with just a small bruise on his arm, he was extremely lucky. Never drive sleepy!
If the DMV made it more harder for idiots to get their license we wouldn't have this problem. It's not just the DMV, it's the police enforcement afterwards--which I'm afraid is sadly lacking. In fact, in my city, the police are some of the worst driver out there. They leave the police station like they're being launched off an aircraft carrier. Then casually drive through lights as if they're not there. The laws in this situation is clear: if they're not on a call, the have to follow the same traffic laws as everyone else. Now, how can you expect the public to drive safely with this kind of example from the police?
bump
Thank god they weren't P platers.. God only knows what ****ed up law the RTA would push then
This annoucement is an exercise in futility. Besides, youth and responsibility are an oxymoron I have a friend who drives like a total idiot. Driving fast on neighborhood streets, not slowing down when making turns, etc.. Thing is, he's 34. He doesn't even drive a fast car. Just a beat up used 1998 Honda Civic with 200k miles on it. He's not gonna stop until he kills somebody with this reckless behavior.
