weird, eh? Did you notice in the link you posted it said that smoking can cause flare ups? :p
"Smoking cigarettes actually has an inverse effect on Crohn's disease; people who smoke, or who have smoked in the past, have a higher risk of developing Crohn's than non-smokers. Crohn's Disease patients that smoke have an increased number of relapses, repeat surgeries, and aggressive immunosuppressive treatment. People with Crohn's are generally encouraged to stop smoking by their physicians in order to prevent flare-ups of the disease."

Do you have trouble putting on weight?

Answer:

Do you have trouble putting on weight? Not if I eat a lot. Before working out in 2005 I was around 120. Then I got really sick in the summer and dropped below 100 lbs. Went on prednisone in and ate everything in sight and got back to 120. Then joined a gym near the end of the year while still on prednisone. I'm not sure if that was a good idea or not. Prednisone causes bone and muscle loss and water retention. March 2006, I was on no meds and shitting 20+ a day. April I was able to get on Remicade.
I got up to 160 in march of this year but I didn't like having a fat waist so then I cut a little. The biggest problem is loss of appetite from running to the bathroom so often but I would just fight it and force myself to eat.

Somebody want to tell me what the f*ck chron's is? Basically an ilness of the stomach that lasts forever, it comes and goes in spurts, and when it acts up you can get violently ill. (no, not talking from experience, yes have a cousin with chrohns)

Answer:

If you don't know what it is, look it up on wikipedia or something. But yes, I was diagnosed with it back in Nov. I actually haven't had a hard time putting on gains. I am up about 10-15 lbs since then. I haven't had a bad flare up and am totally in remission now that I am on meds. I have tried to keep track of my supplements to see if any of them could cause problems, but so far so good!
