CSAC and Garcia don't have to list the exact reason for not granting medical clearance. We don't even know if the tumors were the reason Silva and Choi were denied clearance thoguh it is likely the reason.
Whether Garcia is a pawn of the UFC can be debated. But I think this guy is gettign a big head and single handedly trying to change or dictate the course of MMA.
As for Bennett he is trash and shouldn't be on any MMA cards. Entertaining but a despisable human.

Armando Garcia is a douche and bad for the sport. He expelled (eventually overturned) Josh Thomson from fighting in CA for wearing a shirt. Choi's tumor is well documented, and two other doctors gave him the ok to fight. The tumor is responsible for his size for goodness sake. Don't even want to talk about the Gabe call...

Hurdles in the way of Phil Baroni (Pictures) and Murilo Rua's (Pictures) anticipated fights Friday in San Jose, Calif. have been cleared, California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer Armando Garcia told Sherdog.com.
Baroni's agent Ken Pavia said Wednesday morning that his fighter was given a clean bill of health and would fight Shamrock in the main event of Friday's co-promotion between Strikeforce and EliteXC in San Jose, Calif.
A report surfaced Tuesday on graciefighter.com that Baroni's participation was in jeopardy after the UFC faxed an MRI from 2004 to the California State Athletic Commission. However, CSAC Executive Officer called the report erroneous, saying the faxed MRI came from Strikeforce promoter Scott Coker.
Rua will fight Joey Villasenor (Pictures) Friday on the pay-per-view card for the EliteXC middleweight title."
What happened with Reudiger? I think it was somthing about the show .. like he is not mentally ready to begin fighting again

Guys, I am not anti-UFC or anything. I've been following the UFC since it first began. I am just saying for all the recent hype, and Dana's dissing of Pride and other organizations, UFC certainly does not live up to his claims.
And concerning Dana being able to run Pride for an asian and european audience...well only time will tell.
