chick broke leg last night on Bodog
Any one see it last night? Chick from Japan fighting chick from England.
That was nasty...you could hear it.
naw i didnt see it i cannot watch bodog fights it looks to much like a tv show...i like IFL on mytvnetwork though looks like espn friday night fights kinda and it has bas rutten.
was the break bad like you could see it snap?
Pretty nasty, bone was almost breaking skin. The announcer said people were getting sick at ringside.
That Japanese girl had some awesome standup, however her takedown and grappling REALLY SUCKED, which was kinda wierd because she trains with Josh Barnett
The bone was sticking right out looked like it was going to rip through the skin, by far the worst break ive seen in MMA. Supports my theory of why women should not FIGHT MMA, because they are more fragile then men..
BTW anyone notice the REF? thats my BJJ trainer Troy he's an awesome guy
It seemed like the ref was having trouble explaining going to the cards after the first round. Everyone seemed shook up

The girl from england was taking the japanese girl down. Basically had her in a clinch around the waist, and pulled her straight down with her bodyweight. Her leg was behind her ankle like to trip, no where to go so it just snapped.

I recently heard a "theory" women can handle pain better then men. Its a genetic advantage... Pft that theory just got shot to hell.

the striking is usually sub par so it dosn't interest me as much
did YOU see Mirlo's last fight? He walked away limping but pretty much fine otherwise. And you don't think that he's incredibly lucky that his leg didn't snap? He walked out but if you've read his interviews he's rehabbing an injury from the fall.
