is this enough cardio for the day or shall i do some more boxing when i get back? a couple hours every day is certainly plenty, and could be too much if your body isn't trained for it. you could find yourself over training in a hurry. As for nutrition, if your diet is clean (eliminate things like cheese, high fat milk, deserts etc) you should be good with even an hour of cardio a day. You could do an hour on the bike, with boxing after your weight lifting. Make sure you stick with the weights. Lifting weight/building muscle will also help burn fat. Encourage your friend too, as even though it is a competition between you two, you don't want him to get down, or lose and then stop trying to be a healthier person. I would also consider taking picture, before and after. Take measurements for all your girths, chest, neck, arms, waist, thighs, etc. Make sure that they are relaxed, not flexed! Measurements such as bodyfat are good too. Then you two guys can compare gains and losses to determine the overall winner. say, a series of sub-categories.
Diet information as far as carbs/fat/protein:
Just keep a really clean diet. Look in the Progress Shots forum, check out successful cuts, look at their diets. Read up lots of info.
You can do as much cardio as you want, but if your diet isn't in check, you won't see anything. Get a really good, clean cutting diet going on and you'll see results in a more timely and healthy way.
PS: If you lift in a "complete" way (get everything on the body) and lose some fat, you'll definitely win that contest.
Thanks im on a 4 day routine
