Question:
Whey = fuking expensive
37 dollars per 4 pounds is quite pricey. I think I would be better off with 37 cans of tuna seeing as how it isnt such a large upfront investment. I dont think Ill buy more whey after mine is out.

blame china for expensive whey prices. they are drinking more milk and not producing more resulting in an increse in anything dairy or done with milk.
^^^^where from? bb.com?
ordering from bb.com was cheap for me. around 35ish including shipping using the 10% coupon.
You get what you pay for in life. I'd work and pay for the whey.
try spending thousands of dollars a month on supplements and food.... thats how most big body builders spend
try spending thousands of dollars a month on supplements and food.... thats how most big body builders spend no, they eat more whole foods. they might spend thousands on steroids, but not protein powders and creatine.
That's to much. What are you buying? Muscletech No No. You can find a much better price on line. Check On or Matrix bags.
blame china for expensive whey prices. they are drinking more milk and not producing more resulting in an increse in anything dairy or done with milk. I just got back from China. As rediculous as it might sound, most ppl there don't drink milk. They drink Yogurt as a beverage. The "milk" I tried was nasty and tasted like 50% fat. (I know they are all dairy... just sayin...)
no, they eat more whole foods. they might spend thousands on steroids, but not protein powders and creatine. Whey is a food just as much as cheese or yogurt is.
Whey is a food just as much as cheese or yogurt is. its not a whole food. its in powder form. i said "whole" food.
no shit whey is food, its just not solid.
no, they eat more whole foods. they might spend thousands on steroids, but not protein powders and creatine. Your wrong, they take creatine and protein too. They have macronutrient needs just as any other person does you dumbass.
its not a whole food. its in powder form. i said "whole" food.
no shit whey is food, its just not solid. It has all 8 EAA's, and thats what most describe a 'whole food' as.

Your wrong, they take creatine and protein too. They have macronutrient needs just as any other person does you dumbass. did i ever say otherwise? i said they eat more whole (SOLID) foods. they dont use that much protein powder. You obviously dont know what macronutrients are, protein, carbs, fat and alcohol are macronutrients. no shit they eat protein, theyre f'ing bbers.
i never said protein powder wasnt food, i say it wasnt whole (solid) food. jesus christ.
did i ever say otherwise? i said they eat more whole (SOLID) foods. they dont use that much protein powder. You obviously dont know what macronutrients are, protein, carbs, fat and alcohol are macronutrients. no shit they eat protein, theyre f'ing bbers. Whey is a solid..
Whey is a solid.. whey protein powder isnt a solid food.
try spending thousands of dollars a month on supplements and food.... thats how most big body builders spend no, they eat more whole foods. they might spend thousands on steroids, but not protein powders and creatine. Most of these bodybuilders are millionaires from winning their competitions and being sponsors for companies like muscletech.
Jay cutler spends $200 at costcos for one weeks worth of food... and yes they do eat more "whole foods" compared to supplements - http://www.dailymotion.com/related/1...-store_sport/1
and to end your arguments, protein powders are supplements: which are NOT supposed to be substituted for actual food. Instead they are intended to supply someone with nutrients they are lacking in their diet

First off what the hell are you guys bitching about. Whole foods. Who give a crap. You need a protein source. Who cares if it's powder or fish. You get more with the fish of course but you are still getting your protein. Regular food protein is benificial in most cases because it will fill you up and you will fill more satisfied. When your bulking the last thing you want to do is feel hungry because all your doing is shakes.
You guys are young and growing. Eat a crap load of clean food and do powders 1 or 2 a day. But all this bitching about WHOLE food is just lame ass bickering.
whey protein powder isnt a solid food. I don't get it.
Whey is solid- it's not aqeus, liquid or gaseus.
Whey is a food by definition.
Hence, whey is a solid food.
Whey is also a 'whole food' by definition.
Its cheap as all heck mate. I got 6 kilos for 150. You try and get 6 kilos of protein out of food and see how much that costs ya.
