Tuna has a crazy amount of protein considering the calories. Tuna FTW.

Answer:

Salmon is much better then you. espially since most salmon is fresh, where most tuna is canned. Salmon is more expensive but it has lots of very healthy benifical fats for you. All the stuff you get in fish oil pills you get from salmon naturally. Canned tuna is an easy, convenient protein source, but it's notorious for mercury contamination. Besides its well-known potential for damage to children's developing brains, accumulated mercury may impair adults' immune and reproductive systems and raise heart attack risk.
Try canned salmon or mackerel instead, say Purdue University researchers who tested 272 cans of fish. They found that mercury levels averaged 45 ppb (parts per billion) in canned salmon and 55 ppb in mackerel, compared with as much as 340 ppb in tuna in oil.
If you love tuna, opt for cans labeled chunk light tuna in water. Although they have less healthy omega-3 fats than salmon and mackerel, they averaged only 54 ppb of mercury.

Its a very inexpensive and easy to cook fish, it also doesnt have a very "fishy taste". Fresh tilapia is 3.99 a lb where I live.

And I did get around to making that tilapia. It was pretty good.. I used this recipe.. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Broiled...an/Detail.aspx
I didn't have onion powder or celery salt but the coating still came out good.
Oh and to the other kid... Mercury level dangers are highly exaggerated. You are not putting your health in jeapordy by eating more than 3 cans of tuna a a week... maybe 20.. but who does that.
