endo, ecto meso is all to do with bone structure, number of fat cells and metabolic rate.

If you are referring to structure, yes, of course. Lose bodyfat and you will have a mesomorphic structure. You wouldn't want an ectomorphic structure anyhow.

Endo - slow metabolism, rounder body type, easier time gaining weight
Meso - Ideal bodytype for weight training, larger bone structure, easy to add lean muscle

you're body "type" will not change although you may reshape your body to resemble that of a different body type....if that makes sense. In other words, you can diet to look like an Ecto although you will be eating less calories (due to a slower metabolism and genetics) than a true ecto. would be eating just to maintain their weight (faster metabolism)

and endos are basically like, every black person really not sure what that means however, I personally had a good friend transform from endo to ecto. (Endo generally meaning the person is fat. Ecto generally meaning the person is extremely skinny.)
So to answer your question....absolutely! I really dont know why you would want to. IMO my friend kind of looked sick because he went from one extreme to the other. Not sure whether its very healty either.
My advice would be to find a clean diet that suits you, exercise very regularly, (maintain a strict diet and exercise schedule) and transform into a mesomorph, which is a healthy athletic build.

Your body type is determined by genetics, not your amount of fat.
You can have a fat ectomorph (the typical skinny fat sort of person).
Some easy characteristics are:
Endomorphs - Wide Shoulder and wide hips. Shaped like an apple. Generally have fat around the mid section and torso.
Ectomorphs - Narrow shoulder, narrow hips. The stereotypical lanky guy.
Mesomorphs - The naturally athletes! Shaped like an inverted V, with long lats and wide shoulders, couple with narrow hips (i.e. lucky bastards!!)
Having said that, you can also have mixes of the three types. For instance, an ecto-endo could have the narrow shoulders of an ecto and wide hips of the endo, making the person look like pear shaped.
Different mixtures are good for certain sports. For instance, someone who is mostly endo with some meso makes for the best powerlifter, due to the natural strength of an endo and the athletic ability of a meso. Another example is pure meso for a gymnast, or a pure ecto for a rowing cox!!!

hmmm, is it possible to be an ecto who just happened to get fat? as i've cut down i've noticed my bone structure to be smaller then that of most mesos and i'm getting kinda lanky (have really long arms)
