Question:
Skinny Calves
My thighs portion is fine. Im worried about my calves. They're too skinny!! I've been doing calf raises and donkey calf raises but the results arent so pleasing. ANy advice?
Try doing more advanced training like drop sets, supersets, trisets etc. You mite shock your muscles into growing.
Are you doing low or high reps?
Your calves are built to withstand a high volume of stress, thats why some people have their calves respond better to higher reps while using lower weight.
And try seated calve raises. Rest a bar on your thighs while sitting on a bench and use one of those aerobic step ups as a elevated plane.
wear high heels around the house
wear high heels around the house my feet dont even fit

wear high heels around the house that might actually work.
or some strength shoes.
the reason some females have such big calves is because they wear high heels and it puts strain on their calves and hamstrings when they walk around.. trust me walk around in it around the house everyday and ull see results.. just make sure they are at the right level

What do your calves typically measure?
.. my hands and feet ARE tiny! you know what they say about men with small hands...
small gloves
Work them everytime you go to the gym. if you go 5 days a week, work them 5 days a week.
At 6feet 160lbs I doubt your calves are the only skinny part of your body.
Calves don't grow overnight. They are one of the hardest muscles to put mass on. It takes time.
Mix your training between lower reps with high poundages and higher reps with medium weight. It worked for me, might as well work for you.
you know what they say about men with small hands...

Thanx for the interesting replies :D
Kill them bro !! Some are blessed genetically in the calve department others have to destroy them to get them to grow like others said the best way is to try it all low reps, high reps, drop sets, super sets, just make sure your squeezing and contracting them through the entire movement and also stretch them deep before, in between sets and after for better blood flow to the muscle .. Train hard!

skinny calves
Have you ever tried stripping, and no I'm not talking about taking your clothes off. I had skinny calves too, in proportion to my thighs this seems to work for me. First of all don't do them everyday. Just because your calves can withstand the stress does not mean that they are not subject to the same rules as the rest of your muscles.i.e. you must rest your muscled in order for them to grow, and if you are trying to grow your calves, they need time to rest.
Stripping, only use this on one or maybe 4 body parts at a time, it is not recommended for every muscle group just those that really need to grow.
Pick a weight that you can do 25 reps exp. 80lbs.
then immediately jump down to the heaviest weight you can do for 8-12 reps
immediately jump down 20lbs. do 8-12 more (down meaning lighter)
immediately jump down 20lbs. do 8-12 more
and again jump down 20 more for 8-12reps you can stop there if you're not crying yet do one more set that should bring you closer to your starting weight at the 25 reps.
After about 3 months my calves gained an inch and a half, when they had never grown before.
My calves were 16" when I had never worked them before. I've been working them for a couple of weeks now and they still haven't grown. I'm gonna try "stripping"
how do you exactly do this "stripping" ?
its drop setting
small gloves..... highlight my post for the spoiler -_-

i would have to jump up(not down) to a heavier weight than the one i strated with(which was 25RM),so the new weight(heavier one)is 8-12RM???
im confused:S? if i keep on removing the weights how would that bring me closer to the starting weight?
aahhh :(
