Question:
Almost a BH moment
I almost had one those bad things go on this mourning. Let me explain, I volunteer with the sheriffs here and went a on raid early this mourning. With the adrenilin up I got a good work out in, then the ride home. Some one decided to tailgait me through town. Please understand, this is a tiny town and we were the only vehicles out at 4:30. I decided to make a complete stop at all 5 fourways(I know, just egg them on). This guy pulls around me finally, and goes into a sides ways park that blocks the road. Well I get out to see what the problem is with this joker. He started to cuss at me then starts backing up and apoligizing. I thought ffor a minute " I must look a lot tougher than I think" as he speeds away. As I'm getting back into my minivan it dons on me, theres a pistol and a badge hanging on my belt. what a blow to my ego.
LOL!! You do look tough! The badge was a warning that not only are you tough, you know how to deal with early morning idiots!

Like Al Capone once said, "you can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word"....being ripped doesn't hurt either. :D

I certainly hope you put the fear into him. It's people like him, who are the cause of a lot of accidents, uncalled for violence, even death.

I know the dissapointment though, would have been coool to just step out of the car and be such a scarey looking person that the guy cowared and ran jsut from that. lol

I'm sure the guys confused as can possibly be right now. He's probably thinking to himself "damn, and I thought it was some milf driving that mini-van, not some gun toting SOB."

O, man, what if he had a gun? You guys could have taken 10 paces and turned and fired!! Yeah, no stop lights but all kinds of four way stops. Had he had a gun all hell would have broke loose.
I liked going to the person I was going to arrest's door and showing them my FBI creds - I have had people shit themselves, puke, and even shoot themselves!
yeah, FBI creds kinda own all other LE creds. I have a friend assigned to a task force right now and he is a little impressed with his.
