Back From Mexico!
Question:

Back From Mexico!
So, I've been gone for about a week now. I just got back from an awesome vacation in Mexico. The resort we went to is all inclusive, meaning 3 meals a day were included and they do it kind of buffet style. Surprisingly I was able to eat fairly well with the exception of breakfast. I went knowing I'd probably just have to chill out on the diet for the week, and if it hadn't been for all the fabulous made from scratch margaritas and excellent sushi bar... I just might have! lol
There was no working out while I was there even though I brought my clothes and shoes with the intention of doing it. I'm a little disappointed with myself over that. It was a fairly active vacation. Sure, there was time in the pool and the swim up bar (rough, I know...) but there was also fishing and ATVs and lots of walking around. I caught a Marlin which took my 31 minutes to reel in and I worked up a good sweat doing it.
So, back to the clean diet and workouts... man it's hard to get back into a routine. I feel so incredibly lethargic right now. I've forced myself to get the laundry done, but I haven't been able to pick up the weights yet. Has anyone else had this kind of thing after a vacation? I'm a little afraid to weigh myself, so I think I won't at all until I've been back on the clean diet and exercise for a couple weeks. Anyhow, the vacation was worth it, and it's just once a year.

Sounds like you had a great time! I love Mexico, lots of great times had there! You should post pics!
The last time I went on Vacation was too Hawaii, it took me two years to get back into working out LOL...yeah started partying and really didn't stop...needless to say don't feel to bad if it takes you a couple of days to get back into the routine of things...nothing is really as pathetic as what I did...LOL

As for a couple days to get back into the swing of things.... I got back Thursday night!! lol I thought maybe getting back on these forums would get my mind in the right place and make me want to work out. I can feel it working in the slightest way but no workout yet. I still just want to lay down and take a nap. I'll try to wake up a little earlier tomorrow and hit the weights.

Oh, yes... I also only go on a vacation (usually all-inclusive also) once a year and I go all out. And, yes, when I get back it is hard to get back in to the swing of things..usually about 2 weeks. I'm glad to hear you had such a great time... ;) I sure can't wait till mine.

Ooooh! Do you have a vacation planned for the near future? Where are you going? I love hearing about new vacation places and things to do. It's always fun to try something new. But, I'd go back to the resort we were at in Mexico anytime!
